Super-Midsize Jet Charter in Greenwood
A super-midsize jet gives you a stand-up cabin and the range to reach Los Angeles, Miami or Seattle without a fuel stop. We source a well-maintained aircraft from a Part 135 operator, price it point to point and put every cost in one quote.
Who a Super-Midsize Jet Suits
This class falls between midsize jets and large-cabin Gulfstreams, with models such as the Challenger 350, Gulfstream G280, Citation Longitude and Praetor 600. Expect eight to ten seats, cruise close to Mach 0.8 and about 3,000 nautical miles of range with an ordinary load. Leaving central Indiana, that reaches nearly every city in the lower 48 without a stop, along with much of Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
These jets earn their place on long trips with a full cabin. Flying west, a light jet will have to refuel, and eight people with luggage can crowd a midsize. Choose super-midsize when you will be aloft more than three hours, when passengers want to stand and stretch, or when golf bags, ski gear or sample cases need a proper baggage hold.
An FAA-certified Part 135 air carrier operates each flight we set up. Over our 5 years in business, a large share of the job has been looking into how operators care for their aircraft, since the jet with a steady inspection record is the one that departs on schedule.
What a Super-Midsize Charter Includes
- A vetted jet and two-pilot crew
- Your flight is assigned to a specific tail number from a Part 135 operator and flown by two pilots. We first look at how that operator keeps the jet: its inspection program, recent maintenance history and how long it has been in the fleet.
- A single all-inclusive figure
- Fuel, crew, flight time, landing and FBO fees and federal taxes are combined into one number. Nothing hidden is added after you land.
- Charged leg by leg
- We bill only the legs you take. One-way trips never carry round trip pricing, and there are no long term commitments.
- Room to work and rest on long legs
- On most models you get a flat floor, roughly six feet of headroom, a full galley and an enclosed lavatory. Request it and we will find WIFI equipped aircraft so four hours aloft can be spent working.
- Room for luggage and pets
- Pets are allowed, and we get the operator's approval for them before departure. Most super-midsize jets have an in-cabin baggage hold you can reach during flight, which helps on long trips.
Signs a Super-Midsize Jet Fits Your Trip
Your destination is on a coast
Nonstop from Indianapolis to the West Coast is a stretch for smaller jets, especially against winter headwinds. A super-midsize makes the trip with reserve fuel to spare.
You have seven or more passengers
Midsize cabins fill fast once bags come aboard. The extra cabin length gives each person a full seat and space to move.
The flight is over three hours
Standing headroom and a proper lavatory matter more each hour you are in the air, for executives and for families with kids.
Your group is bringing a lot of bags
Golf clubs, skis and trade show crates fit the larger hold without pushing the aircraft to its weight limits.
You need to arrive ready to work
A quieter cabin and onboard WIFI let a team prepare on the way and walk straight into a meeting.
What Changes a Super-Midsize Quote
Time in the air sets most of a super-midsize price, and it shifts with where the jet begins and what happens while you are on the ground. Our pricing is point to point, so one-way trips are quoted one way. These are the things that move the total.
Route and hours aloft
Most of the price comes from flight hours. Westbound headwinds stretch the trip, so going and coming back can be priced differently.
Where the jet starts
When the closest fitting jet is based in another city, its flight to you is included in the price. We search for aircraft based nearby to keep that leg short.
Days on the ground
A round trip with a few days between flights brings crew lodging and per diem, or it can be booked as two one-way legs. We quote both ways and show you how they compare.
Busy dates and winter
Fewer jets are free during holiday weeks and major event weekends. Below freezing in winter, de-icing fluid and hangar fees may be added.
Catering and add-ons
We order catering to your request and show it as its own line on the quote, so its cost is plain.
How We Book Your Flight
- 1
Talk through the trip by phone
Tell us the dates, airports, passenger count, bags and any pets. We ask about timing flexibility too, since it can open up better aircraft options.
- 2
We check aircraft and operators
We compare available super-midsize jets by maintenance standing, cabin layout, runway needs and positioning distance. A heavily fueled jet may need more runway than a smaller field offers, so we confirm the departure airport fits the aircraft.
- 3
You get one all-inclusive quote
We name the aircraft model, the operator and every cost line. Once you approve it, we confirm the booking and send the FBO details.
- 4
Departure day
Arrive at the FBO a short time before departure, drive close to the aircraft and board after a quick ID check. We keep in contact with the operator through the trip, and we are reachable 24/7 if your plans change.

Super-Midsize Charter Questions
How many seats does a super-midsize jet have?
Eight to ten in a club and divan arrangement on most models. How many can actually fly depends on luggage, because on a long leg every pound of weight competes with fuel. Share your passenger count and bags and we will make sure one aircraft takes everyone without a stop.
Will a super-midsize jet reach the West Coast from Indianapolis without stopping?
Usually, yes. With a typical load these jets fly about 3,000 nautical miles, enough for California and the Pacific Northwest. If headwinds are very strong and the cabin is full, the operator may schedule a fuel stop, and you hear about it from us before booking.
How is the operator chosen?
Only Part 135 operators make the first cut. Among them, we compare how each keeps its aircraft, how seasoned its crews are and what its safety record shows. A jet a little farther away with a strong upkeep record beats a closer one we know less about.
What if something goes wrong mechanically?
The jet stays parked until a mechanic signs it off, and we begin finding a replacement at once, in the same class when possible. As soon as the new departure plan is set, we call you and go over anything that is different.
When is a heavy jet the better choice?
Go with heavy jet charter for groups over ten, for flights across the Atlantic or if you want a private rear stateroom. Within North America, a super-midsize normally has the range you need for less per hour.
